The context

Close enough to understand the actual job.

Problem
National criterium racing is exciting but fragmented. Schedules, streams, results, rankings, and team stories are spread across many sources and disappear quickly after race weekend.

My role
I built the full-stack platform, data automation, ranking systems, public experience, partner tools, and the technical foundation for a more connected editorial product.

Product decisions

What I chose to make true.

  • Connect the schedule, livestream, results, and rankings so each race feels like part of a season.
  • Create durable rider and team records rather than a feed that disappears after an event.
  • Automate result imports and ranking updates where source data allows it.
  • Give teams controlled ways to connect race-day media to their public profiles.

What shipped

The useful part, not the pitch.

  • Shipped a live national platform with race results, rankings, schedules, rider and team pages, and livestream discovery.
  • Built import automation and ranking calculations for the U.S. criterium calendar.
  • Added partner workflows for bringing team media into the public product.

Technical depth

Built across the stack.

  • TypeScript
  • FastAPI
  • PostgreSQL
  • Automated imports
  • Rankings
  • Livestream discovery
  • Instagram integration
